The Catch-all: ICYMI September 30-October 6

The news I've been consuming this week

Hello all, hope your week has been going well. I’m in a haughty scramble to get school work done before the holiday weekend and my university’s reading week. Not to mention where I’m based, there was a heatwave for most of the week. It wasn’t really characterized as such, but 29 degrees in the humidity in the first week of October is not a good sign.

Also, for some reason, I read very important stories from before Sept. 30 this week. So I included them. Please don’t sue me for false advertising.

In addition, Palestine has launched a counteroffensive against Israel in response to their raids of the Al-Aqsa mosques. This happened earlier today, but I’m including a link because it’s important.

Anyway, without further ado, here’s what you may have missed in the news this week.
