The Catch-All: ICYMI February 10-16

Great news! The Catch is now accepting paid subscribers! At this point this is only for people who have the inclination to support the newsletter as is. There are no additional perks, and as always the weekly analysis and the round-up will be free. More will be coming in the future down the line, but at this point this is only for those who want to chip in a bit to make the operation of the site a bit easier. Click the button below to sign up (if you want).

Anyway, the news this week was a little disjointed. Lots on Canada and COVID, not much in Ontario, World or US. I've been busy with my internship so I haven't been reading as much in certain areas. That being said, it's notable to mention that the CDC dropping the 5 day recommendation for isolation was justified by saying people weren't doing it. The video I linked in AV Corner helps deep-dive into why it's bullshit. As always, a reminder to check outlets like Mondoweiss, Al Jazeera and Middle East Eye for more timely update on Israel's genocide of Palestine.
