The Catch-All: ICYMI April 6-12

Good morning, all. This week was eventful on my end, I finished the last semester of my journalism program. I still have summer courses to finish, but once that's done I'll complete my degree and finally be out of the academia cycle! Very excited on that front.

A quick note: I changed the description of the site from "Covering news media in Canada from a materialist analysis" to "Analyzing Canadian news media and its capitalist ideology." I realized the work done here wasn't exactly evaluating how newspapers were made, servers hosted or funding provided, and therefore not materialist. There still may be some of that analysis done in the future, but the new description fits what The Catch does far better. Not a huge thing but transparency and all that. Anyway, on with the news.
